حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عِلْبَاءَ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلَّا عَلَى حُثَالَةِ النَّاسِ.

Ali ibn Thabit told us: Abd al-Hamid ibn Ja'far al-Ansari told me, from his father, from Ilba' al-Sulami, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say, 'The Hour will not be established except upon the worst dregs of the people.'
