قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ رَجُلٌ كَانَ يَكُونُ بِالسَّاحِلِ عَنْ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ أَوْ أَبِي أَسِيدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ شَكَّ سُفْيَانُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كُلُوا الزَّيْتَ وَادَّهِنُوا بِالزَّيْتِ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us: Sufyan told us, from Abdullah ibn Isa, who said: Ata' — a man who used to live on the coast — told me, from Abu Usayd, or Abu Usayd ibn Thabit, Sufyan being uncertain, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'Eat olive oil and anoint yourselves with olive oil, for it comes from a blessed tree.'
