حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْجُعْفِيِّ قَالَ انْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَأَخِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أُمَّنَا مُلَيْكَةَ كَانَتْ تَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ وَتَقْرِي الضَّيْفَ وَتَفْعَلُ وَتَفْعَلُ هَلَكَتْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَهَلْ ذَلِكَ نَافِعُهَا شَيْئًا قَالَ لَا قَالَ قُلْنَا فَإِنَّهَا كَانَتْ وَأَدَتْ أُخْتًا لَنَا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَهَلْ ذَلِكَ نَافِعُهَا شَيْئًا قَالَ الْوَائِدَةُ وَالْمَوْءُودَةُ فِي النَّارِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُدْرِكَ الْوَائِدَةُ الْإِسْلَامَ فَيَعْفُوَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abi Adi narrated to us from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from al-Sha'bi, from Alqamah, from Salamah ibn Yazid al-Ju'fi, who said: My brother and I went to the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Messenger of God, our mother Mulaykah used to maintain family ties, feed guests, and do such-and-such, but she died in the Age of Ignorance - will that benefit her in any way? He said: No. We said: She had also buried alive a sister of ours in the Age of Ignorance - will that benefit her in any way? He said: The one who buries [her child alive] and the one buried alive are both in the Fire, unless the one who buried lived to reach Islam, in which case God may pardon her.
