حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مَالِكٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي يَا أَبَتِ إِنَّكَ قَدْ صَلَّيْتَ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ وَعَلِيٍّ هَاهُنَا بِالْكُوفَةِ قَرِيبًا مِنْ خَمْسِ سِنِينَ أَكَانُوا يَقْنُتُونَ قَالَ أَيْ بُنَيَّ مُحْدَثٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us: Abu Malik informed us, he said: I said to my father: O father, you prayed behind the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali, here in Kufah, for nearly five years - did they perform qunut [in the prayer]? He said: O my son, that is an innovation.
