Ali ibn Bahr told us: Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad al-Darawardi told us, from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, nephew of Ibn Shihab, from Ibn Shihab, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abdullah ibn Ka'b, from Ka'b ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Satirize them with poetry, for indeed the believer struggles with his person and his wealth." And by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, it is as if you were piercing them with arrows.
