حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ أَنَّهُ رَأَى نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ فِي صَلَاتِهِ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ رُكُوعِهِ وَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ سُجُودِهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ بِهَا فُرُوعَ أُذُنَيْهِ.

Malik ibn al-Huwairith saw the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) raising his hands in prayer when he raised his head from bowing, when he prostrated, and when he raised his head from prostration, until his hands were level with the tops of his ears.
