حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ الرِّجَالَ عَاقِدِي أُزُرِهِمْ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَمْثَالَ الصِّبْيَانِ مِنْ ضِيقِ الْأُزُرِ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ لَا تَرْفَعْنَ رُءُوسَكُنَّ حَتَّى يَرْفَعَ الرِّجَالُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sahl ibn Sa'd said: 'I saw men with their waist-wrappers tied around their necks like children because the waist-wrappers were so short, praying behind the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Someone said: O women, do not raise your heads until the men raise theirs.'
