حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رَاشِدٍ أَبِي سَعْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَدَعَا وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ ثُمَّ كَانَ يُشِيرُ بِأُصْبُعِهِ.

Jarir told us, from Mansur, from Rashid Abu Sa'd, from Sa'id ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abza, from his father, who said: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sat in the prayer and made supplication, he would place his right hand on his thigh, then he would point with his finger.
