حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ كَانَ لِأَبِي شُعَيْبٍ غُلَامٌ لَحَّامٌ فَلَمَّا رَأَى مَا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ مِنْ الْجَهْدِ أَمَرَ غُلَامَهُ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ لَهُ طَعَامًا يَكْفِي خَمْسَةً فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ ائْتِنَا خَامِسَ خَمْسَةٍ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاتَّبَعَهُ رَجُلٌ فَلَمَّا انْتَهَيَا إِلَى بَابِهِ قَالَ إِنَّكَ أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيَّ أَنْ آتِيَكَ خَامِسَ خَمْسَةٍ وَإِنَّ هَذَا قَدْ اتَّبَعَنَا فَإِنْ أَذِنْتَ لَهُ دَخَلَ وَإِلَّا رَجَعَ قَالَ فَإِنِّي قَدْ أَذِنْتُ لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَدَخَلَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ahmad ibn Abd al-Malik told us, Zuhayr told us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, who said: Abu Shu'ayb had a butcher-servant, and when he saw the hardship afflicting the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, he ordered his servant to prepare food sufficient for five, and sent word to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Come to us, you being the fifth of five." So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, got up, and a man followed him. When the two of them reached his door, he said: "You sent inviting me to come as the fifth of five, but this man has followed us; if you permit him, he may enter, otherwise he will go back." He said: "I have indeed permitted him, O Messenger of Allah," so he entered. Ahmad ibn Abd al-Malik told us, Zuhayr told us, al-A'mash told us, from Abu Wa'il, from Abu Mas'ud, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, similarly.
