حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ أَبِي بَشِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى بَعْضِ أَهْلِهِ فَقَالَ هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ مِنْ إِدَامٍ فَقَالُوا لَا إِلَّا شَيْءٌ مِنْ خَلٍّ فَقَالَ هَلُمُّوا فَجَعَلَ يَصْطَبِغُ بِهِ وَيَقُولُ نِعْمَ الْإِدَامُ الْخَلُّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Surayj told us, Hushaym told us, from Abu Bashir, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered upon some of his household and said: "Do you have any relish?" They said: "No, except a little vinegar." He said: "Bring it," and he began dipping his bread into it, saying: "What an excellent relish vinegar is."
