حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مَثَلُ السُّنْبُلَةِ تَسْتَقِيمُ مَرَّةً وَتَخِرُّ مَرَّةً وَمَثَلُ الْكَافِرِ مَثَلُ الْأَرْزَةِ لَا تَزَالُ مُسْتَقِيمَةً حَتَّى تَخِرَّ وَلَا تَشْعُرُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hasan told us, Ibn Lahi'a told us, Abu al-Zubayr told us, from Jabir: that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The parable of the believer is like an ear of grain: it bends one time and rises another; and the parable of the disbeliever is like the cedar tree, remaining upright continuously until it falls all at once without feeling it.
