حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ لَمَّا بُنِيَتْ الْكَعْبَةُ كَانَ الْعَبَّاسُ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْقُلَانِ حِجَارَةً فَقَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اجْعَلْ إِزَارَكَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَلَى رَقَبَتِكَ مِنْ الْحِجَارَةِ فَخَرَّ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ وَطَمَحَتْ عَيْنَاهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَقَامَ فَقَالَ إِزَارِي إِزَارِي فَقَامَ فَشَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Bakr informed us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, 'Amr ibn Dinar told me, who said: I heard Jabir ibn 'Abdullah say: When the Ka'ba was being built, al-'Abbas and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, were carrying stones. Al-'Abbas said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "Put your waist-wrap" — 'Abd al-Razzaq said: "on your neck, to cushion the stones" — so he fell to the ground and his eyes turned up toward the sky. He stood up and said, "My waist-wrap! My waist-wrap!" and he got up and fastened it upon himself.
