حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعُودُنِي لَيْسَ بِرَاكِبٍ بَغْلًا وَلَا بِرْذَوْنًا.

'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us, from Sufyan, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jabir, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came to visit me while I was ill, not riding a mule or a horse.
