حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ مَوْتُ النَّجَاشِيِّ قَالَ صَلُّوا عَلَى أَخٍ لَكُمْ مَاتَ بِغَيْرِ بِلَادِكُمْ قَالَ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ قَالَ جَابِرٌ فَكُنْتُ فِي الصَّفِّ الثَّانِي أَوْ الثَّالِثِ قَالَ وَكَانَ اسْمُهُ أَصْحَمَةَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Sa'id told us, from Qatadah, from Ata' ibn Abi Rabah, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, that when news of the death of the Negus reached the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: Pray over a brother of yours who has died in a land other than yours. He said: So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and his Companions prayed over him. Jabir said: I was in the second or third row. He said: his name was Ashamah.
