حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ سَعْدًا سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ لَبَّيْكَ ذَا الْمَعَارِجِ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ لَذُو الْمَعَارِجِ وَلَكِنَّا كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا نَقُولُ ذَلِكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sa'd heard a man saying in his Talbiyah: 'Labbayk, O Lord of the Stairways (Dhal Ma'arij).' Sa'd said: 'He is indeed the Lord of the Stairways, but we were with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and we did not say that.'
