حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا أَسَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَزْنِي الزَّانِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَسْرِقُ حِينَ يَسْرِقُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ قَالَ جَابِرٌ لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ قَالَ جَابِرٌ وَأَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عَمْرٍو أَنَّهُ قَدْ سَمِعَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Musa told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, who said: I asked Jabir, "Did you hear the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, 'The adulterer does not commit adultery while he is a believer, nor does the thief steal while he is a believer'?" Jabir said, "I have not heard it." Jabir said: Ibn 'Amr informed me that he had indeed heard it.
