Musa told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, that he asked Jabir, "Did you hear the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, 'When a man enters his house, let him give the greeting of peace,' and that the believer eats using a single intestine's worth?" He said, "Yes." He said: I also asked Jabir, "Did you hear the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, 'When a man enters his house and mentions the name of Allah upon entering and upon eating, Satan says, There is no lodging and no supper here for you; but if he enters without mentioning the name of Allah upon entering, Satan says, You have found lodging, and if he does not mention the name of Allah at his meal, he says, You have found lodging and supper'?" He said, "Yes."
