حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَهُوَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْغَسِيلِ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنْ كَانَ أَوْ إِنْ يَكُنْ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ أَدْوِيَتِكُمْ خَيْرٌ فَفِي شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ أَوْ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ أَوْ لَذْعَةٍ بِنَارٍ تُوَافِقُ دَاءً وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَكْتَوِيَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr - that is, Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri - told us: 'Abd al-Rahman - meaning Ibn al-Ghasil - informed us, from 'Asim ibn 'Umar ibn Qatadah, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "If there is good in any of your remedies, it is in the cut of a cupping-glass, or a drink of honey, or a cauterization with fire suited to the ailment - but I do not like to be cauterized."
