حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الَّذِي يُقَالُ لَهُ الْعَدَنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَقَطَتْ لُقْمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيُمِطْ مَا عَلَيْهَا مِنْ أَذًى ثُمَّ لِيَأْكُلْهَا وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَلَا يَمْسَحْ أَحَدُكُمْ يَدَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَ أَصَابِعَهُ أَوْ يُلْعِقَهَا فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي فِي أَيِّ طَعَامِهِ الْبَرَكَةُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah ibn al-Walid, who is called al-'Adani, told us, Sufyan told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When one of you drops a morsel, let him remove whatever harm is on it, then eat it, and not leave it for the devil; and let none of you wipe his hand with a napkin until he has licked his fingers or had them licked, for he does not know in which part of his food the blessing lies."
