Abd al-Samad told us, my father told us, al-Jurayri told us, from Abu Nadrah, from Jabir, he said: The vacant lands around the mosque became inhabited, and Banu Salimah wanted to move nearer to the mosque. This reached the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said to them: "It has reached me that you want to move nearer to the mosque." They said: "Yes, O Messenger of God, we did want that." He said: "O Banu Salimah, your homes — your footsteps are recorded! Your homes — your footsteps are recorded!"
