حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَمَنَّوْا الْمَوْتَ فَإِنَّ هَوْلَ الْمَطْلَعِ شَدِيدٌ وَإِنَّ مِنْ السَّعَادَةِ أَنْ يَطُولَ عُمْرُ الْعَبْدِ وَيَرْزُقَهُ اللَّهُ الْإِنَابَةَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Amir and Abu Ahmad told us, they said: Kathir ibn Zayd told us, al-Harith ibn Yazid told me — Abu Ahmad said: from al-Harith ibn Abi Yazid — he said: I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not wish for death, for the terror of the place of emergence is severe, and it is part of good fortune that a servant's life be prolonged and that God grant him repentance."
