حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ الْهِلَالَ فَصُومُوا وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَأَفْطِرُوا فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَعُدُّوا ثَلَاثِينَ يَوْمًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Rawh told us, Zakariyya told us, Abu al-Zubayr told us that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When you see the new moon, fast, and when you see it again, break the fast. But if it is obscured from you, then count thirty days."
