حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْمِي يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ضُحًى وَحْدَهُ وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَبَعْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ.

Yahya told us, from Ibn Jurayj: Abu al-Zubayr informed me, who said: I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, casting the pebbles on the Day of Sacrifice in the forenoon by himself; but as for after that, it was after the sun had passed its zenith.
