حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُنْتَبَذُ لَهُ فِي سِقَاءٍ فَإِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ سِقَاءٌ نُبِذَ لَهُ فِي تَوْرٍ مِنْ بِرَامٍ.

Ishaq ibn Yusuf told us, Abd al-Malik told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: Nabidh (a steeped date or raisin drink) used to be prepared for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in a waterskin; and if he had no waterskin, it was prepared for him in a stone basin.
