قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَيْضًا أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَجَنَازَةُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ مَوْضُوعَةٌ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ اهْتَزَّ لَهَا عَرْشُ الرَّحْمَنِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) visited a man from the Muslims who had become weak like a chick. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to him: 'Were you supplicating with something or asking Allah for something?' He said: 'Yes, I used to say: O Allah, whatever punishment You have for me in the Hereafter, bring it forward for me in this world.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Subhan Allah! You cannot bear it — or you are not able to handle it. Why did you not say: O Allah, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire?' He supplicated for him, and Allah healed him.
