حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ أَبُو قَطَنٍ، وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ، قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رِمْثَةَ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَدُ الْمُعْطِي الْعُلْيَا أُمَّكَ وَأَبَاكَ وَأُخْتَكَ وَأَخَاكَ ثُمَّ أَدْنَاكَ أَدْنَاكَ وَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو يَرْبُوعٍ قَتَلَةُ فُلَانٍ قَالَ أَلَا لَا تَجْنِي نَفْسٌ عَلَى أُخْرَى و قَالَ أَبِي قَالَ أَبُو النَّضْرِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ دَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ وَيَقُولُ يَدُ الْمُعْطِي الْعُلْيَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Rimthah narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: "The upper hand (the giving hand) is superior. (Give charity to) your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, then the closest in relation to you and then the next closest." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, these are the Banu Yarbu', the killers of so-and-so." He said: "Indeed, no soul bears the burden of another." Abu al-Nadr added in his narration: "I entered the mosque, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was delivering a sermon saying: 'The upper hand (the giving hand) is superior.'"
