حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ يَهُودِيًّا مَرَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ السَّامُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا قَالَ السَّامُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأُخِذَ الْيَهُودِيُّ فَجِيءَ بِهِ فَاعْتَرَفَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رُدُّوا عَلَيْهِمْ مَا قَالُوا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
A Jewish boy who used to serve the Prophet (peace be upon him) became sick. The Prophet (peace be upon him) came to visit him and sat by his head. He said: 'Accept Islam.' The boy looked at his father, who was also present. His father said: 'Obey Abu al-Qasim.' So he accepted Islam. The Prophet (peace be upon him) left saying: 'Praise be to Allah who saved him from the Fire.'
