حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ أَنْذَرَ أُمَّتَهُ الْأَعْوَرَ الْكَافِرَ أَلَا إِنَّهُ أَعْوَرُ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَيْسَ بِأَعْوَرَ مَكْتُوبٌ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ ك ف ر.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) married Zaynab bint Jahsh and served bread and meat. I was sent to invite people. A group would come, eat, and leave, then another group would come, eat, and leave. I invited people until I found no one left to invite. I said: 'O Prophet of Allah, I found no one else to invite.' He said: 'Clear the food.' Three men remained, chatting in the house. The Prophet (peace be upon him) left, and I followed him. He went to Aishah's chamber and said: 'Peace be upon you, O people of the house.' She said: 'And upon you peace, O Messenger of Allah. How did you find your wife?' He visited all his wives in a similar manner. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) returned, and I returned with him. When he reached the door, the three men were still sitting. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was very shy, so he left again. The verse of hijab (the curtain) was then revealed.
