حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ قَالَ أَنَسٌ مَا أَعْرِفُ فِيكُمْ الْيَوْمَ شَيْئًا كُنْتُ أَعْهَدُهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ قَوْلَكُمْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ قَدْ صَلَّيْتُ حِينَ تَغْرُبُ الشَّمْسُ أَفَكَانَتْ تِلْكَ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَقَالَ عَلَى أَنِّي لَمْ أَرَ زَمَانًا خَيْرًا لِعَامِلٍ مِنْ زَمَانِكُمْ هَذَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ زَمَانًا مَعَ نَبِيٍّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Anas said: 'I do not recognize among you today anything that I used to know during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), except your saying La ilaha illallah.' I said: 'O Abu Hamzah, what about the prayer?' He said: 'You pray when the sun sets — was that the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)?' Then he said: 'However, I have not seen a time better for a doer of good than your time, except the time spent with a Prophet.'
