'Affan told us, Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad told us, al-Mukhtar ibn Fulful told us, Anas ibn Malik told us, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Messengership and prophethood have come to an end; there will be no messenger after me, nor any prophet." He said: That was hard upon the people. He said: "But there are the glad tidings." They said: "O Messenger of God, what are the glad tidings?" He said: "The good dream of the believing man, which is one of the parts of prophethood."
