Affan told us: Abd al-Wahid told us: Sulayman ibn Mihran told us, from Abu Sufyan, from Anas ibn Malik, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say often: "O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion." His companions and family said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, do you fear for us, when we have believed in you and in what you brought?" He said: "Indeed the hearts are between the fingers of Allah, Mighty and Sublime; He turns them as He wills."
