حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَاذَا تَرَى نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ { لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّى تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ } وَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لِي مَالٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَرْضِي بَيْرُحَاءَ وَإِنِّي أَتَقَرَّبُ بِهَا إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَخٍ بَخٍ بَيْرُحَاءُ خَيْرٌ رَابِحٌ فَقَسَمَهَا بَيْنَهُمْ حَدَائِقَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan told us: Hammam told us: Ishaq ibn Abd Allah ibn Abi Talha informed us, from Anas, that Abu Talha came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was on the pulpit, and said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "What do you think - this verse has been revealed?" He said: "Indeed Allah, Mighty and Sublime, said: 'You will never attain righteousness until you spend from what you love.' And I have no wealth dearer to me than my land at Bayruha, and I wish to draw near to Allah, Mighty and Sublime, through it." He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Well done, well done! Bayruha is a profitable investment." So he divided it among them as gardens.
