حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْشِي حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ أَوْ قَرِيبًا مِنْهُ أَتَاهُ شَيْخٌ أَوْ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ مَتَى السَّاعَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا قَالَ الرَّجُلُ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ نَبِيًّا مَا أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا مِنْ كَثِيرِ عَمَلٍ صَلَاةٍ وَلَا صِيَامٍ وَلَكِنِّي أَحَبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ قَالَ أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aswad ibn Amir told us: Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash told us, from Mansur, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Anas, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came walking until he reached the mosque or nearly reached it. An old man - or a man - came to him and said: "When is the Hour, O Messenger of Allah?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And what have you prepared for it?" The man said: "By the One who sent you with the truth as a Prophet, I have not prepared much of prayer or fasting for it, but I love Allah and His Messenger." He said: "You will be with those whom you love."
