حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَابْنَ سَيِّدِنَا وَيَا خَيْرَنَا وَابْنَ خَيْرِنَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قُولُوا بِقَوْلِكُمْ وَلَا يَسْتَهْوِيَنَّكُمْ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ تَرْفَعُونِي فَوْقَ مَا رَفَعَنِي اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَدَّثَنَاه الْأَشْيَبُ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَعَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ وَلَا يَسْتَجْرِئَنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Mu'ammal told us: Hammad told us, from Humayd, from Anas, that a man said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, 'O our master, and son of our master, and our best, and son of our best,' and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'O people, say what you would normally say, and do not let Satan lead you astray. I am Muhammad, son of Abdullah, and the Messenger of God, and by God, I do not wish that you raise me above what God, Mighty and Majestic, has raised me.' Al-Ashyab told us this, from Hammad, from Thabit, from Anas; and Affan told us: Hammad told us: Thabit told us, with the wording: 'and do not let Satan make you bold.'
