حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ لَمَّا أَرَادَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ الْحَجَّامُ رَأْسَهُ أَخَذَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ شَعَرَ أَحَدِ شِقَّيْ رَأْسِهِ بِيَدِهِ فَأَخَذَ شَعَرَهُ وَجَاءَ بِهِ إِلَى أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ فَكَانَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ تَدُوفُهُ فِي طِيبِهَا.

Hasan told us: Hammad ibn Salama told us, from Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: When the Messenger of God wanted the barber to shave his head, Abu Talha took the hair from one side of his head with his hand, took his hair, and brought it to Umm Sulaym. He said: Umm Sulaym used to mix it into her perfume.
