حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ الْحَبْحَابِ وَعَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ وَثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا.

Hasan ibn Musa told us: Hammad ibn Zayd told us, from Shu'ayb ibn al-Habhab and Abd al-Aziz ibn Suhayb and Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, freed Safiyya and made her freedom her bridal dowry.
