حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْأَنْصَارِ إِنَّكُمْ سَتَجِدُونَ أَثَرَةً شَدِيدَةً فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنِّي عَلَى الْحَوْضِ قَالُوا سَنَصْبِرُ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ وَأَخْفَاهُ وَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
‘Ali ibn Ishaq told us, ‘Abdullah informed us, he said: Yunus informed us, from al-Zuhri, who said: Anas ibn Malik informed me, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to the Ansar, "You will experience after me a strong preference given to others over you, so be patient until you meet Allah and His Messenger, for I am at the Basin." They said, "We will be patient." ‘Abdullah said: he added, "God willing," but he spoke it quietly, and I thought it was not part of the hadith itself.
