Abd al-Samad told us, Hammam told us, Ishaq told us, from Anas, who said: I was walking with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was wearing a rough-edged Najrani cloak, and a Bedouin from the desert-dwellers was asking him for something, until he reached one of his chambers. The Bedouin pulled him roughly, so that the cloak tore and its edge left a mark on the neck of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Yet the only response of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was that he ordered something be given to him, and he was given it.
