حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَوَاقِعِ نَبْلِهِ فَيَتَطَاوَلُ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بِصَدْرِهِ يَقِي بِهِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَيَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَحْرِي دُونَ نَحْرِكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abi Adi told us, from Humayd, from Anas, who said: Abu Talhah was in front of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, shielding him, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would raise his head from behind him to see where his arrows fell. Abu Talhah would stretch out his chest to shield the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, with it, saying: O Messenger of Allah, my throat before your throat.
