حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ ضَخْمٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ مَعَكَ فَصَنَعَ لَهُ طَعَامًا وَدَعَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبَسَطُوا لَهُ حَصِيرًا وَنَضَحُوهُ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ آلِ الْجَارُودِ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى قَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُهُ صَلَّاهَا إِلَّا يَوْمَئِذٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Bahz told us, Shu'bah told us, Anas ibn Sirin informed us, he said: I heard Anas ibn Malik say: There was a heavily built man among the Ansar who could not manage to pray with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so he said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "I am unable to pray with you." So he prepared a meal for him and invited the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and they spread out a mat for him and sprinkled it with water, and he prayed two rak'ahs on it. A man from the family of al-Jarud said to him, "Did the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, ever pray the mid-morning prayer?" He said, "I never saw him pray it except on that day."
