حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَكْتُبَ لِنَاسٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ إِلَى الْبَحْرَيْنِ فَقَالُوا لَا إِلَّا أَنْ تَكْتُبَ لِإِخْوَانِنَا مِنْ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ مِثْلَهَا فَدَعَاهُمْ فَأَبَوْا قَالَ أَمَا إِنَّكُمْ سَتَرَوْنَ بَعْدِي أَثَرَةً فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْنِي.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Ansari told us, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik relate that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, wanted to write a grant for some men of the Ansar to Bahrain, but they said, "No, unless you write the same for our brothers among the Emigrants." So he called the Emigrants to offer them the same, but they declined. He said, "Indeed, after me you will see others given preference over you, so be patient until you meet me."
