حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَسْقَى فَأَشَارَ بِظَهْرِ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ.

Hasan ibn Musa told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Thabit, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed for rain and gestured with the backs of his palms toward the sky.
