حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَ أَبِي وَأَمْلَاهُ عَلَيْنَا يَعْنِي أَبَا دَاوُدَ مَعَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمَدِينِيِّ فَقَالَ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي ثَابِتٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.

Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us—my father said, and he dictated it to us, that is, Abu Dawud, along with 'Ali ibn al-Madini, saying: Shu'ba said: Thabit informed me, saying: I heard Anas, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "For every treacherous person there is a banner"—I think he said, "on the Day of Resurrection."
