Anas ibn Malik reported: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) during Asr prayer, and a man among the people was looking for water for ablution but could not find any. Water was brought to the Messenger of Allah - the vessel was too small for him to spread his hand in it - so all the people performed ablution from it. He said: We asked Anas: "How many were you?" He said: "About eighty or more."
