حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ الرُّبَيِّعَ عَمَّةَ أَنَسٍ كَسَرَتْ ثَنِيَّةَ جَارِيَةٍ فَطَلَبُوا إِلَى الْقَوْمِ الْعَفْوَ فَأَبَوْا فَأَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ الْقِصَاصُ قَالَ أَنَسُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تَكْسِرُ ثَنِيَّةَ فُلَانَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَنَسُ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ الْقِصَاصُ قَالَ فَقَالَ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ لَا تُكْسَرُ ثَنِيَّةُ فُلَانَةَ قَالَ فَرَضِيَ الْقَوْمُ فَعَفَوْا وَتَرَكُوا الْقِصَاصَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مِنْ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ مَنْ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَبَرَّهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Anas reported that al-Rubayyi', Anas's paternal aunt, broke the front tooth of a girl. They sought the people's pardon but they refused. They went to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), who said: "Retaliation." Anas ibn al-Nadr said: "O Messenger of Allah, will the front tooth of so-and-so be broken?" The Messenger of Allah said: "O Anas, the Book of Allah prescribes retaliation." He said: "By the One who sent you with the truth, her front tooth will not be broken." Then the people were satisfied and pardoned, foregoing retaliation. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, among the servants of Allah are those who, if they swore by Allah, He would fulfill their oath."
