حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاة وَالسَّلَامُ قَالَ إِنِّي لَأَدْخُلُ الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُطِيلَهَا فَأَسْمَعُ بُكَاءَ الصَّبِيِّ فَأَتَجَاوَزُ فِي صَلَاتِي مِمَّا أَعْلَمُ مِنْ شِدَّةِ وَجْدِ أُمِّهِ مِنْ بُكَائِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us from Sa'id, and Ibn Ja'far, and Abd al-Wahhab al-Khaffaf narrated to us from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from Anas: that the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "I enter the prayer wanting to prolong it, then I hear the crying of a child, so I shorten my prayer, because I know the intensity of his mother's distress from his crying."
