حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كُلُّنَا نَكْرَهُ الْمَوْتَ قَالَ لَيْسَ ذَاكَ كَرَاهِيَةَ الْمَوْتِ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِذَا حُضِرَ جَاءَهُ الْبَشِيرُ مِنْ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِمَا هُوَ صَائِرٌ إِلَيْهِ فَلَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَكُونَ قَدْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَأَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَإِنَّ الْفَاجِرَ أَوْ الْكَافِرَ إِذَا حُضِرَ جَاءَهُ بِمَا هُوَ صَائِرٌ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ الشَّرِّ أَوْ مَا يَلْقَاهُ مِنْ الشَّرِّ فَكَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ وَكَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us from Humayd, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him, and whoever dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him." We said, "O Messenger of Allah, all of us dislike death." He said, "That is not what is meant by disliking death; rather, when the believer is dying, he is given good news from Allah, Mighty and Majestic, of what awaits him, so nothing is dearer to him than to meet Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and Allah loves to meet him. And when the wicked one, or the disbeliever, is dying, he is given news of the evil that awaits him, so he dislikes to meet Allah, and Allah dislikes to meet him."
