حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ قَالَ أَظُنُّهَا عَائِشَةَ فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِحْدَى أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَعَ خَادِمٍ لَهَا بِقَصْعَةٍ فِيهَا طَعَامٌ قَالَ فَضَرَبَتْ الْأُخْرَى بِيَدِ الْخَادِمِ فَكُسِرَتْ الْقَصْعَةُ بِنِصْفَيْنِ قَالَ فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ غَارَتْ أُمُّكُمْ قَالَ وَأَخَذَ الْكَسْرَتَيْنِ فَضَمَّ إِحْدَاهُمَا إِلَى الْأُخْرَى فَجَعَلَ فِيهَا الطَّعَامَ ثُمَّ قَالَ كُلُوا فَأَكَلُوا وَحَبَسَ الرَّسُولَ وَالْقَصْعَةَ حَتَّى فَرَغُوا فَدَفَعَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَصْعَةً أُخْرَى وَتَرَكَ الْمَكْسُورَةَ مَكَانَهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us from Humayd, and Yazid ibn Harun informed us, Humayd informed us, from Anas: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was with one of his wives - he said, I think it was Aishah - and one of the Mothers of the Believers sent, with a servant of hers, a bowl containing food. He said: The other one struck the servant's hand, and the bowl broke into two halves. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, began to say, "Your mother is jealous." He said: He took the two broken halves and joined one to the other, put the food in it, and said, "Eat." So they ate, and he kept the messenger and the bowl until they finished, then he gave the messenger another bowl and left the broken one where it was.
