حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْأَعْشَى عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ بُشَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ عَالَ ثَلَاثَ بَنَاتٍ فَأَدَّبَهُنَّ وَرَحِمَهُنَّ وَأَحْسَنَ إِلَيْهِنَّ فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ أَبِي رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ مَاتَ خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي الطَّحَّانَ وَمَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ وَأَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ وَحَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ فِي سَنَةِ تِسْعٍ وَتِسْعِينَ إِلَّا أَنَّ مَالِكًا مَاتَ قَبْلَ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ بِقَلِيلٍ قَالَ أَبِي وَفِي تِلْكَ السَّنَةِ طَلَبْتُ الْحَدِيثَ كُنَّا عَلَى بَابِ هُشَيْمٍ وَهُوَ يُمْلِي عَلَيْنَا إِمَّا قَالَ الْجَنَائِزَ أَوْ الْمَنَاسِكَ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ بَصْرِيٌّ فَقَالَ مَاتَ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan told us, Khalid told us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from Sa'id al-A'sha, from Ayyub ibn Bushayr, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever supports three daughters, disciplines them, has mercy on them, and treats them well, Paradise is his." Abdullah said: My father, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Khalid ibn Abdullah - meaning al-Tahhan - and Malik ibn Anas and Abu al-Ahwas and Hammad ibn Zayd died in the year ninety-nine, except that Malik died a little before Hammad ibn Zayd. My father said: And in that year I began seeking hadith. We were at the door of Hushaym while he was dictating to us - either the chapter on funerals or the rites of Hajj - when a man from Basra came and said: "Hammad ibn Zayd has died" - may Allah's mercy be upon them all.
