حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ جَاءَ جِنَازَةً فِي أَهْلِهَا فَتَبِعَهَا حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنْ مَضَى مَعَهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ.

Affan told us, Wuhayb told us, Amr ibn Yahya told us, from Muhammad ibn Yusuf ibn Abdullah ibn Salam, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever attends a funeral with its family and follows it until it is prayed over has one qirat, and whoever accompanies it [to burial] has two qirats, like [the mountain of] Uhud."
